Dwarf Pyracantha Bonsai _ are the graceful trees. It spreading little trees with petite, medium gree leaves. Dwarf Pyracantha is an asian evergreen that has small, bright green leaves and clusters of brilliant red berries that are bitter when raw but can be cooked into delicious jams, jellies and marmalades. The Pyracantha has also ben called "The firethorn" and it's berries are frequently used for a pop of color in cristmas wreaths.

Dwarf Pyracantha blooms in April wiht starry-white flowers and berries from september through December. Thes bonsai must be kept outside all year round and they absolutely love sunlight. This trees is a superb, lavish and gorgeous.

Dwarf Pyracantha is a showy landscape plant that features bright berries in the fall and long, thorny branches. Growing to five feet or more in height. Newer cultivars of Pyracantha include dwarf varieties such as "Red Elf" that grow to a more compact 2 foot height and also have improved disease resistance. Dwarf Pyracantha varieties reuire much of the same care as their large conterparts.

Dwarf Pyracantha Bonsai are unfortunately susceptible to a wide range of pests. These include scale insects, aphids, fireblight, Caterpillars, Leaf miners, and spider mites. The most seriuouse threat to the health Dwarf Pyracantha Bonsai is fireblight. Fireblight is a fungal disease spread by leaf hopper insect. And if that happen, there is no way to cure your plant.

So, with the proper soil mixture, watering, and care, your bonsai will be as healthy as it can be. Strong plants are less susceptible to all types of pests.
